Tutoring Method

Fun as driving force for learning, we all know it, is a powerful thing.  So is learning from people you know well and who know how you learn best. In training our students, we follow a method called the tutor system. This means in practice that advanced students, once trained to a certain level, are given the opportunity and financial support to become tutors and give classes at their turn. This way, they gain experience in teaching while continuously improving their own IT skills. It also means that skills learned from visiting volunteers are retained and repeatedly transferred within our community.

A number of volunteers contributed to the project over time, with computer  teaching, hardware providing and technical mantenance, building up a small library. We will welcome volunteers again soon, should you be interested please contact us.
