December 29, 2011 SVCC is now affiliated with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal!
As of today, SVCC is affiliated with this institution (affilation number 34031). This is another big step forward for our organisation. The Social Welfare Council Nepal is "responsible for the promotion, facilitation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the NGOs in Nepal".

September 9, 2011 SVCC has a new cooperation partner!

Better said: An organisation who already had supported the project some years ago, has joined the project again as supporting partner organisation: Digitale Brücke e.V. from Germany. A meeting has taken place between SVCC and them on September 7th, at the project location in Bacchauli. As outcome, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between both NOGs leaders Kumma Raj Subedi (SVCC) and Minh Phan (DB ev.) on the 8th of September, 2011 keeping the followings as objectives of the collaboration between the two organizations:

1. Rebuild SVCC's operative structures
2. Re-establish the teaching activities
3. Establish an overseas volunteer programme
4. Develop the existing curriculum and create new teaching material
5. Identify and implement income generating activities to improve the sustainability
6. Implement an accounting system
7. Regularly exchange and communicate and mutual promotion

We are looking forward to a fruitful and efficient cooperation.
